Trinal, Inc. (“Trinal”) has been engaged by Roundy\u2019s Supermarkets, Inc. (\u201cRoundy\u2019s\u201d), the parent company of Mariano\u2019s, as its Corporate Diversity Consulting firm. \u00a0Roundy\u2019s is committed to providing both access and opportunities to diverse firms who demonstrate the willingness and capacity to not only deliver but to also grow within its family of store locations. From professional services to construction, Roundy\u2019s is committed to ensuring that Minority, Women, Disadvantaged, Local and Veteran-Owned Businesses are engaged and included in various procurement opportunities.<\/p>\n
Toward this end, Mariano\u2019s is seeking to pre-qualify contractors\/vendors in various construction-related categories.\u00a0 This will be done through a pre-qualification application process.\u00a0 The purpose of the pre-qualification application process is to provide the project developers and their selected general contractors with information to determine which contractors\/suppliers present the qualifications and capabilities to be awarded a bid package on various Mariano\u2019s projects as they become available.<\/p>\n
Companies are invited to attend the Mariano’s Pre-Qualified Contractor’s Outreach Event, which will be held at the Carpenters\u2019 Apprenticeship Training Center located at 2121 South Union Street, Chicago, IL, on Friday, October 2, 2015.\u00a0 We will also outline in detail the construction process involved when a Mariano\u2019s is built, the advantages of pre-qualification and the Mariano\u2019s Mock Bid Process.\u00a0 Contractors that have been pre-qualified through the Mariano\u2019s Pre-Qualification Program will then be scheduled for one-on-one sessions with the general contractors that have been selected to work on the Mariano\u2019s stores to be built in 2016.\u00a0 We will also schedule one-on-one sessions with the pre-qualified general contractors seeking opportunities to bid as general contractors on upcoming Mariano\u2019s stores with representatives from Roundy\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Companies are strongly encouraged to submit their Pre-Qualification Application in its entirety no later than<\/strong> Friday, August 28, 2015<\/strong> to allow sufficient time to have their application processed and to obtain notification as to whether they have been pre-qualified.\u00a0 The Roundy\u2019s Pre-qualification Contractor\/Supplier Application for Mariano\u2019s is attached for your convenience.\u00a0 Click here for the application: Roundy\u2019s Supermarkets, Inc.
